Andrew & Natalie Koch - 🇬🇷
We loved our time in Greece from getting to see the ancient ruins in Corinth to seeing where Paul preached in Thessaloniki. As much as we love history, the highlight of the trip were all of the wonderful people we met in Greece. We were able to help the church there in Athens for 3 months on the AIM program.
We helped with music by playing piano, leading worship, playing bass, drums, and guitar. We helped with their annual summer youth retreat and ended the retreat with a concert in one of the main squares of Athens. We sang What a Beautiful name it is in Greek, the crowd was moved by the Holy Ghost and stopped to listen. We ended the concert with outreach to every person that had stopped to hear about Jesus! The young people were encouraged to step out in faith for the Lord!
Along with helping in music we ministered in Athens and daughter works in Piraeus and Glyfada. Andrew had studied Greek before our trip so he was able to preach some in the language as well. We were privileged to teach in The Crossroads Athens Bible School and the New Converts Class.
The Lord also blessed us to be able to teach Bible Studies to a Greek local who grew up in the Greek Orthodox Church. Andrew had Bible Studies weekly with him and they would talk about the Oneness of God and the fundamentals of the doctrine. We also made a very good friend.
We will cherish forever the memories and all of the wonderful friends we made in Greece 🇬🇷
